Eagle Spotting
Each spring we set up nesting sites for sea eagles. It is particularly important to protect the nest while the hatching process. When the kids are out of the shell the eagle becomes less vulnerable. It is exciting to follow the children into adulthood when they are able to fly.
The area has one of the largest populations of eagles.

Sealsafari
Gray seals and harbor seals are the most common species. Gray seals are very shy and not easy to approach. The escape quickly when they feel threatened.
Harbor seals are curious, especially the kids. In the nesting season you can experience places bustling with heads sticking out of the sea.
The area has one of Europe's largest population of gray seals and harbor seals.

Cormorant colonies
Cormorant nests in colonies on special islets. It has eggs, little kids and big kids in the same nest. It's the big kids who look after the nest while parents hunt for food. It is permitted to hunt young birds with white belly from 1 October to 30 November.
