    Det bästa av två världar

    Tänk dig en roadtrip längs slingrande landsvägar bland fjordar, fjäll, vattenfall och glaciärer. Vid de särskilt spektakulära utsiktspunkterna kan du stanna och ta en paus på platser där den fantastiska naturen kompletteras av unika byggnader och konstruktioner.

    Precis så är det att köra längs Norges 18 nationella turistvägar. Norsk arkitektur och design har upprättats i naturen för att göra resan mer spännande. Tanken med de nationella turistvägarna är helt enkelt att kunna erbjuda något annorlunda på resan.

    I videon nedan kan du följa fyra vänner en bit längs turistvägen i Sognefjellet.

    De 18 sträckorna går dels längs kusten och dels upp i bergsområden i norra, västra och mellersta Norge. Totalt täcker de 2 136 kilometer, och längs varje väg finns flera minnesvärda platser i form av utsiktspunkter, konstinstallationer eller rastplatser med världens tjusigaste toaletter.

    Flera av Norges största arkitekter och designers bidrog till projektet, bland andra Snøhetta, Reiulf Ramstad Arkitekter, Jensen & Skodvin och Carl-Viggo Hølmebakk. Vissa utländska arkitekter var också med, till exempel fransk-amerikanska Louise Bourgeois och Peter Zumthor från Schweiz.
